MOUNT UNION SCHOOL DISTRICT ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR THE "RESTROOM PAVILION" The Mount Union School District will be accepting "SEALED BIDS" until 3:00 p.m. prevailing time on, January 26th, 2018 for the "Mount Union School District, Restroom Pavilion", situated at the Mount Union High School between East Pine Street and East Sherman Street in the village of Mount Union in Mount Union Borough, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania. BIDS ARE INVITED ON A LUMP SUM BASIS FOR THE FOLLOWING CONTRACTS: Contract #1 - General Construction Contract #2 - Electrical/Mechanical Construction Contract #3 - Plumbing Construction Sealed bid proposal for the "Mount Union School District, Restroom Pavilion" project will be submitted to the, Mount Union School District located at: 603 North Industrial Drive in Mount Union, PA until 3:00 PM, Friday, January 26th, 2018. No facsimile or e-mailed bids will be accepted. All work must be substantially complete by March 30th, 2018 and 100% completion/demobilization by April 6th, 2018. CONTRACTORS may obtain detailed plans and specifications at the office of Thomas H. Metz Engineering, Inc., 781 Promise Land Drive, Mifflintown, PA 17059, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Drawings and Bid Specifications are also available for review at the Office of the Mount Union School District, 603 North Industrial Drive in Mount Union, PA, 17066. Review hours are between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. or as scheduled with Mrs. Amy Smith or William Varner at the location of the same. Each Bidder shall provide the following information when obtaining a set of the project plans and specifications: A. Cover Letter B. Bidder's Name, Contractor Number and Mailing address C. Bidder's Telephone Number D. Bidder's Facsimile Number & E-Mail Address Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in an amount equal to 10% of the base bid amount in the form of a bid bond or other acceptable instruments as described in the Bid Package. A Performance Bond is required on forms similar to those provided in the Bid Bond Package. Each Bond shall be in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the contract. Bids shall not be modified, withdrawn or concealed by the bidder for thirty (30) days after the indicated time for receipt of bids. Each "Contract Bid" must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, marked clearly with "Mount Union School District, Restroom Pavilion" and delivered to the Administrative Office (Attn: Mrs. Amy Smith or Mr. William Varner) prior to the above-designated date. All bids will be due by the date indicated above. Decision will be made at the regular scheduled meeting of Mount Union School District School Board at 7:00 p.m. at the Mount Union Junior/Senior High School on, January 29th, 2018 at, 706 North Shaver Street, Mount Union, PA 17066.
